It's commonly believed that people suffering from serious injuries caused by medical malpractice or negligence can only recover monetary damages if they lose wages from employment outside the home. What happens to a person whose main responsibility is taking care of the home?

Many people are under the mistaken impression that a homemaker's services can't be valued, or if they can they don't amount to much. That is simply not true.
